Theo James (Divergent) and Rose Leslie (Game of Thrones, The Good Fight) star as Henry DeTamble and Clare Abshire in HBO’s upcoming adaptation of Audrey Niffenegger’s novel, The Time Traveler’s Wife.
James and Leslie play a married couple who are madly in love but continually torn apart by Henry’s constant time-traveling and inability to control it.
“Why is love intensified by absence?” asks Clare as Henry disappears again.

Besides James and Leslie, the six-episode series also stars Desmin Borges as Gomez and Natasha Lopez as Charisse.
The series is executive produced by writer Steven Moffat (Doctor Who, Sherlock) and director David Nutter (Game of Thrones) as well as Sue Vertue, Brian Minchin through Hartswood Films, and Joseph E. Iberti.
The Time Traveler’s Wife premieres May 15 on HBO and HBO Max.
