WGN America released a trailer Thursday showing scenes from the upcoming second season of Underground, set to the tune of John Legend’s original song “In America.”

Legend, an executive producer of the series, will make his first guest appearance on the show as abolitionist Frederick Douglass. His original song will debut in its entirety for the March 8 premiere. Also, Beyoncé‘s Grammy-nominated song “Freedom” will be featured in the episode.

The network also released a 30-second teaser promoting a day-long season-one marathon, shown below, airing all ten episodes back to back, starting Saturday, Feb. 25 at 9 a.m. ET.

The series is set in an increasingly divided United States on the verge of all-out war. Set in the wake of the Macon 7’s daring efforts to stage the greatest escape in history, this group of American heroes continues on their excruciating journey to freedom.
