Univision Communications has officially promoted Jessica Rodriguez to CMO to oversee marketing for the network as well as its in-house creative agency.

Rodriguez was previously EVP of program scheduling and promotions at Univision, where she headed the newly created Univision Agency, which heads the creative services and promotions for the channel. Randy Falco, president and CEO of Univision, created the agency, and has since expanded the role of CMO so that Rodriguez will be responsible for all Univision marketing - digital, radio, TV - as she will also remain head of the Univision Agency.

Falco also announced on Thursday that Kevin Cuddihy, former president of the Univision Television Group, has been promoted to president of local media, where he will oversee 130 TV and radio stations.
