Tray (Tracy Morgan) just wants to open up a place where people can be happy with his food when The Last O.G. returns.

In season two, after losing his job he goes all in on his dreams of becoming a chef, while his ex-girlfriend Shay (Tiffany Haddish) has an intriguing business venture of her own on the horizon, says TBs.

The series features Morgan as an ex-con who is shocked to see just how much the world has changed when he is released from prison for good behavior after a 15-year stint and returns to his newly gentrified Brooklyn neighborhood.

Season two also stars Ryan Gaul as Shay’s affable husband Josh; Allen Maldonado as Tray’s goofy but well-intentioned cousin Bobby; and Taylor Mosby and Dante Hoagland, who play Tray and Shay’s teenage children, Shahzad and Amira.

New guest stars this season include hip hop artists Method Man, Rev Run, Talib Kweli, and Rakim, as well as Bresha Webb (Marlon), Diarra Kilpatrick (American Koko), Anna Maria Horsford (The Bold and the Beautiful), Joshua Rivera (Escape at Dannemora), Dan Hedaya (The Usual Suspects), Brian Sacca (Wrecked), and Jack McBrayer (30 Rock).

The Last O.G. is executive produced by Tracy Morgan, Jordan Peele for Monkeypaw Productions, Eric Tannenbaum and Kim Tannenbaum for The Tannenbaum Company, Saladin Patterson, and Joel Zadak of Artists First.

It premieres April 2 on TBS.
