Chris Pine stars as Jay Singletary, a former Marine-turned-hack reporter/paparazzo trying to uncover the truth behind a Hollywood scandal in TNT’s intense first look at I Am the Night.
From executive producer Patty Jenkins (Wonder Woman), the tense six-episode limited series, inspired by true events, tells the story of Fauna Hodel (India Eisley) who was given away at birth. As Fauna begins to investigate the secrets to her past, she follows a sinister trail that swirls ever closer to an infamous Hollywood gynecologist, Dr. George Hodel (Jefferson Mays), a man involved in the darkest Hollywood debauchery.
Leland Orser, Yul Vazquez, Dylan Smith, Golden Brooks, Justin Cornwall, Jay Paulson and Connie Nielsen also star.
The series is written by Sam Sheridan, author of A Fighter’s Heart and The Disaster Diaries, who is an executive producer along with Jenkins, Pine, Carl Franklin (House of Cards, Homeland), Anonymous Content and Sugar 23’s Michael Sugar (13 Reasons Why, Spotlight).Turner’s Studio T is a producer.
I Am the Night is set to premiere in January 2019.
