WarnerMedia’s TNets – TBS, TNT and truTV – answer the question: “Why do we still need International Women’s Day?” in the above spot that addresses the continuing pay gap between men and women and especially between men and women of color.

The campaign, which is designed by Nayeli Lavanderos, encourages viewers to visit a landing page to support three organizations that are working to bridge the gender gap, addressing such issues as the lack of publicly funded maternity leave and car safety, which is tested using crash-test dummies that are modeled on men.

On the programming side, all three networks are honoring International Women’s Day (and Women’s History Month) by spotlighting female-focused programming all month long, including Sisters and Spy on TBS, Marvel Studios’ Captain Marvel and DC’s Wonder Woman on TNT and Fast Foodies on truTV. In addition, TBS will air the first two episodes of HBO Max’s Emmy-nominated The Flight Attendant on March 27.
