Warner Bros. is prepping to premiere its latest talker, The Jennifer Hudson Show, starring the newly crowned EGOT winner as she performs, interviews celebrities, tells topical stories and talks with everyone from community heroes to viral sensations.

The one-hour talker, which comes from the executive producers of The Ellen DeGeneres Show, has been sold to such TV station groups as Fox Television Stations, Hearst Television, Sinclair Broadcast Group, Tegna, Nexstar Media Group, Scripps Media and Gray Media Group, among others. Fox is serving as the show’s major launch group with Jennifer Hudson airing on Fox-owned stations in the top-three markets of New York, Chicago and Los Angeles.

Hudson this spring earned the fourth piece of her EGOT (Emmy, Grammy, Oscar and Tony) when she won the Tony as a co-producer on this year’s best musical, A Strange Loop. She won a best supporting actress Oscar in 2007 for her role as Effie in the film Dreamgirls, starring alongside Beyonce and Eddie Murphy. She is the youngest EGOT winner in history.

The Jennifer Hudson Show is produced in Los Angeles by Warner Bros. Unscripted Television in association with Telepictures and distributed in national syndication by Warner Bros. Domestic Television Distribution, The Jennifer Hudson Show is executive produced by Mary Connelly, Andy Lassner, Corey Palent, Hudson, Lisa Kasteler Calio, Graehme Morphy and Walter Williams III, with Shani Black as co-executive producer.

The Jennifer Hudson Show premieres in national broadcast syndication on Monday, September 12.
