It’s been an exciting 12 months for Los Angeles-based Stun.

Last June, Stun was named Agency of the Year at PromaxBDA’s annual conference, and it’s looking to repeat this year in New York. With a staff that’s grown from four people to 115 in the agency’s 18 years in business, a move to a larger headquarters on Wilshire Blvd. was in order. And Stun is getting into the TV production business, with an animated comedy starring Jo Koy in development at TruTV.

Comedy is a central pillar to Stun’s success, and the agency does lots of work for networks and shows that demand something funny while staying on brand. That includes the below spot starring Kristen Bell, host of the 2018 SAG Awards on TNT:

And this one for TruTV’s Impractical Jokers

The agency also produces plenty of content specifically for social, including the below head-scratcher for HBO’s Silicon Valley and a fun interactive campaign on Facebook and Instagram for Bravo’s Imposters.

PromaxBDA Editorial Director Paige Albiniak talked to Stun’s Mark Feldstein and Brad Roth about all of that and more in this episode of The Daily Brief Podcast:
