The CW is bringing back Nickelodeon’s competition reality series, Legends of the Hidden Temple, on Oct. 10.
The series will be hosted by writer, producer, actor and comedian Cristela Alonzo and include many of the original series most popular challenges and features, including giant talking Mayan head Olmec, the Moat Crossings, the Steps of Knowledge and the Temple Run.
The new version of the series also preserves the original’s team names: Purple Parrots, Blue Barracudas, Orange Iguanas, Red Jaguars, Silver Snakes and Green Monkeys. See if you can find animals and symbols of all six names in Open Road’s teaser trailer (above).
Four teams begin the journey but only one will enter Olmec’s Temple for a chance at retrieving a lost treasure.
Based on the original game show created by David G. Stanley, Scott A. Stone and Stephen R. Brown, Legends of the Hidden Temple is produced by Stone & Company Entertainment and Nickelodeon. The series is executive produced by Scott A. Stone and Marcus Fox (Paradise Run).
