In Apple TV Plus’ apocalyptic drama, See, Baba Voss (Jason Momoa) is a skilled warrior who, like most of society, has lost his sense of sight due to a deadly virus that decimated most of mankind hundreds of years prior.

Baba is one of the few people who has sighted children, and such mythical beings soon come to the attention of the violent brother who hates him—Edo Voss (Dave Bautista)—a powerful and cunning general who serves as a leader in rival faction the Trivantian Republic. Edo quickly realizes that Baba’s family is the perfect thing to use against him.

Besides Momoa and Bautista, Alfre Woodard also stars as Baba Voss’ spiritual leader, Paris. New series regulars in season two include Eden Epstein (Sweetbitter), Tom Mison (Watchmen), Hoon Lee (Warrior), Olivia Cheng (Warrior), David Hewlett (The Shape of Water) and Tamara Tunie (Flight).

Season two of See is executive produced by Steven Knight, Francis Lawrence, Peter Chernin, Jenno Topping, Jim Rowe and Jonathan Tropper, who also serves as showrunner. The series is produced by Chernin Entertainment and Endeavor Content.

The eight-episode second season will premiere Friday, Aug. 27 on Apple TV Plus with episodes dropping each week.
