In season two of Amazon Prime Video’s original series, Hanna, would-be teen assassin Hanna (Esmé Creed-Miles) is finally figuring out who she is. But she can’t spend too much time on it because she also must evade the sinister government agency who wants to recapture her and use her for her highly-trained skills.

At the end of season one, Hanna learned that secret government program, Ultrax, run by John Carmichael (Dermot Mulroney), has produced and trained a whole cadre of teen-aged super soldiers. Now she’s on a mission to rescue her friends at a potentially high cost to herself. Besides Creed-Miles and Mulroney, Mireille Enos stars as CIA operative Marissa Wiegler.

The series, which is based on the 2011 movie of the same name co-written by David Farr, is written by Farr, Paul Waters, Laura Lomas, Nina Segal, and Charlotte Hamblin and executive produced by Tom Coan, Andrew Woodhead, Eric Fellner, Tim Bevan, Marty Adelstein, Becky Clements and Scott Nemes. It’s produced by Amazon Studios, NBCUniversal International Studios, Tomorrow Studios and Working Title Television.

Hanna returns to Amazon Prime Video on July 3.
