​Spike TV today announced that 12-year veteran of Nickelodeon, Frank Tanki, has been tapped as the network’s EVP of brand marketing and creative.

In Tanki’s new role, he will oversee Spike TV’s consumer marketing, brand creative and social marketing strategies. Tanki was previously at Nickelodeon as SVP of the brand’s strategic property planning and marketing, working on campaigns like “SpongeBob SquarePants,” “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles” and “Dora The Explorer.” He’s also led the team in bringing the brand to industry events such as Comic-Con.
