Syfy released a brief teaser for the second season of its pre-Superman series Krypton, offering a look at what’s next after last season’s cliffhanger.

The 30-second teaser previews the villains who will share the screen in season two, such as General Dru-Zod, who’s reshaping Krypton in an attempt to “claim their rightful place among the stars,” Brainiac, who gets into a new altercation with Superman’s grandfather Seg-El, and Doomsday, the highly-anticipated mega-villain teased throughout the first season.

A release date wasn’t announced with the teaser; however, it’s expected to premiere on Syfy later this year.

Based on DC characters, the series is executive produced by David S. Goyer (Man of Steel, Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, The Dark Knight trilogy). Cameron Welsh (Ash vs Evil Dead) serves as executive producer and showrunner.
