Sarah Cohen has joined New York City-based creative branding agency Loyalkaspar as associate creative director, said David Herbruck, co-founder and president in a statement. (Herbruck is also a member of Promax’s board of directors.)
“Sarah is a creative and strategic mind as sharp as they come, who has genuine passion and integrity about her work,” said Herbruck in a statement. “She adds not only talent and experience, but also leadership to our team, and we couldn’t be more excited to have her part of our band.”
Cohen comes to Loyalkaspar from Sibling Rivalry where she was senior design director. Prior to that she was design director at Trollbäck+Company and art director at The New York Times.
While at those posts, Cohen helped develop the brand identities for Disney+, AMC and Oxygen, as well as the brand refresh for FX, memorably centered on innovative and generative custom typography.
At Loyalkaspar, Cohen will be both a design and strategy lead, working to develop sophisticated systems and narratives that help brands and audiences better connect. She will work with Loyalkaspar’s client roster of media and entertainment brands, including NBCUniversal, Paramount, CNN, Netflix, Starz and AppleTV Plus.
“Loyalkaspar is an incredible creative studio filled with thoughtful and innovative people and makers,” Cohen said, also in a statement. “I’m inspired by their design process of learning and understanding and how that process opens us up to authentic and exciting solutions for our clients. I’m thrilled to be a part of this team and to learn and grow alongside such talented people in this season of my career.”
