Rapper Joey Simmons—known by his stage name Rev. Run or DJ Run—and his wife Justine Simmons play fictionalized versions of themselves raising a family of four kids in Netflix’s autobiographical sitcom All About the Washingtons.

Joey Simmons plays Joey Washington, who retires from his long career in hip hop as DJ Joey Speed.

“I can’t stop!” tells the crowd in Netflix’s trailer. “I won’t stop! I’ll never stop! … I gotta stop.”

His wife Justine Washington takes advantage of the opportunity to pursue her lifelong dream of becoming an entrepreneur now that Joey is available to focus on raiding the kids and keeping the house in order.

The series also stars their kids: Kiana Ledé as coding teacher Veronica Washington, Nathan Anderson as music producer Wesley Washington, Leah Rose Randall as child genius Skyler Washington and Maceo Smedley as young Deavon Washington.

Rev Run is a founder member of the hip hop group Run-D.M.C., as well as a practicing minister. He found renewed popularity on MTV series Run’s House, which ran from 2005-09.

All About the Washingtons is produced by Amblin and ABC Studios for Netflix. Andrew Reich is created by Jeremy Bronson. Andrew Reich serves as showrunner and executive producer along with Bronson, Justin Falvey and Darryl Frank from Amblin Television, Rev Run Simmons and Justine Simmons, and Michael Lehman of Simmons Lehman Productions.

The series premieres August 10 on Netflix.
