Steve Harrington (Joe Keery) has a summer job at an ice cream shop in the Starcourt Mall—coming to Hawkins, Ind. for season three of Stranger Things.

Netflix’s teaser for the return of the hit show from the Duffer Brothers is positioned as a commercial for “one of the finest shopping facilities in America and beyond,” paying homage to ‘80s culture with plugs for stores such as defunct bookstore Waldenbooks, music retailer Sam Goody—with Bruce Springsteen’s “Born in the USA” album in the window, a perfectly vintage logo for the Gap, and of course Scoops Ahoy—featuring Steve and new character Robin (Maya Hawke, Little Women), who joins the cast as a series regular.

Robin is described as an alternative girl bored with her mundane day job, who seeks excitement in her life and gets more than she bargained for when she uncovers a dark secret.

Season three also focuses on Lucas’ (Caleb McLaughlin) strong-willed little sister Erica (Priah Ferguson) who steps up from the sidelines and finds herself on a wild mission to save Hawkins from a dangerous and unexpected new threat, says Netflix.

The promo says the mall is “coming next summer,” leading to speculation about a summer 2019 season three premiere date.
