Quick cuts of screams, gasps, tears, gags, kisses, burps and grunts set the stage for what to expect in Netflix’s teaser revealing plans for season three of the edgy animated comedy Big Mouth.

The streamer promises “the pains of puberty are far from over,” in the 10-episode order that follows the show’s season-two premiere on October 5.

The series comes from real-life best friends Nick Kroll and Andrew Goldberg about the glorious nightmare of going through that inevitable awkward phase on the way to adulthood.

Comedian John Mulaney lends his voice to the character of Andrew, while Kroll voices many characters including best friend Nick. Maya Rudolph, Jason Mantzoukas, Jordan Peele, Fred Armisen, Jenny Slate and Jessi Klein are among those who also voice the series.

Kroll, Andrew Goldberg and screenwriter-directors Mark Levin and Jennifer Flackett are all creators and executive producers.
