Global entertainment marketing association Promax on Tuesday announced the finalists in its 2022 Latin America Awards competition.

Finalists include such companies as A&E Latinoamerica, AMC Networks Latin America, Peru’s América Televisión, Argentina’s Artear, Colombia’s Caracol Television, CNN Worldwide, Brazil’s Globo TV, History Channel Latin America, NBCUniversal Internet Networks Direct to Consumer, Paramount, The Walt Disney Company LATAM, TyC Sports (also known as Tournos) and Warner Bros. Discovery, and such agencies as Miami’s GYB Creative Agency, Los Angeles’ Makine Studios, Buenos Aires’ Superestudio and more.

The Promax Latin America Award finalists and winners are determined via two rounds of judging. The first round, which determines the finalists, is conducted via online voting. This round includes a diverse line-up of industry judges across North, Central and South America. Each entry is evaluated and scored based on overall creativity, originality of concept and message effectiveness.

The second round, which selects the winners, was held via in-person meetings with jury members in Buenos Aires and Miami who selected gold and silver winners.

This year’s jury included Santiago Cano Moffat, senior brand manager, AMC Networks International – Latin America; Javier de Innocentis, senior creative director, History Channel Latin America; Lucia Huergo, senior brand manager, kids and family, Warner Bros. Discovery; Diego Peralta, creative director, TyC Sports; Alejo Perez Labat, creative supervisor, Artear; Lucas Peró, creative manager, Paramount; André Takeda, head of creative services, the Walt Disney Company Latin America; Jose Gomez, U.S. Hispanic creative manager, Warner Bros. Discovery; Ruben Gonzalez, marketing director, A+E Networks Latin America; Carolina Grau, senior creative director, Warner Bros. Discovery; Jennifer Grau-Rubi, manager, marketing and promotions, NBCUniversal Global Distribution/Telemundo; Miriam Luciow, vice president, global content, Marvista Entertainment; Flavio Ortega-Jimenez, creative director, CNN Worldwide; and Cesar Sakay, senior art director, TelevisaUnivsion.

Promax will name the winners during a gala in-person celebration at Esotico in Miami on Thursday, September 15.

Separately, Promax is accepting submissions for its 2022 Global Excellence Awards through Thursday, September 1. It will also celebrate the 2022 Promax Europe Awards via a virtual ceremony on Thursday, September 8.
