WPIX-TV (PIX11) New York City named David Hyman Vice President, Creative Services on Thursday, giving him responsibility for all strategic planning, brand development, and on-air and off-air marketing.
Hyman has been with the flagship CW station as a consultant. He officially joins station management on March 10, and will report to President and GM Rich Graziano.
Before arriving at PIX11, Hyman served as VP and Creative Director for “NBC Nightly News with Brian Williams,” and Creative Services and Programming veep at WNBC New York City.
“David brings over 20 years of experience as a creative leader at NBC Nightly News, WNBC and NBC Television Stations Division, and his extensive skills will be an asset to PIX11 as we continue to grow the station and develop our brand,” said Graziano.
In addition to his marketing and creative services oversight, Hyman will also be responsible for sales, news, programming and production support.
