Longtime “Meet the Press” executive producer Betsy Fischer Martin is moving on. Martin, who started as an intern on the show 22 years ago, has been EP for the past 11 years. She will transition to a new role as managing editor of political programming for all of NBC News.

Rob Yarin will fill the gap at “Meet the Press” left behind by Martin, after serving as SVP of programming at the media consulting firm Frank N. Magid Associates since 1999.

The longest-running programming in television, “Meet the Press” has seen its recent slip in recent years, lagging behind CBS’ half-hour program, “Face the Nation.”
