Former SportsTime Ohio network president Jim Liberatore has been named the Outdoor Channel’s new CEO. Liberatore will assume the new position immediately, stepping into the void left by the departing Tom Hornish.
Outdoor Channel was acquired by Kroenke Sports and Entertainment in May.
Liberatore served as president of SportsTime Ohio since 2006, where he was responsible for the launch of the Northern Ohio sports network, home to Major League Baseball’s Cleveland Indians. Before that, he was president of motor sports network Speed Channel for five years
