Leading into its 500th episode, Oxygen is running a two-week marathon of its longest-running original series, Snapped, starting Monday, Nov. 9.

To promote the event, which focuses on the series’ “Killer Women,” Oxygen partnered with Los Angeles and London-based Kill2Birds to produce this above trailer, with the design-driven creative agency handling the graphic overlays. The 60-second spot is set to Bebe Rexha’s “I’m Gonna Show You Crazy.”

The 500th episode will delve into a homicide that took place in a small town in Kansas in which Randy Sheridan was shot five times while out jogging nearly 30 years ago. The episode reveals new details that have come to light about Sheridan’s frayed relationship with his ex, Dana Flynn, who at the time was having an affair with the local pastor. The couple also was in a nasty custody battle over their seven-year-old daughter at the time. The episode also features an interview with Flynn’s brother, Mike Dreiling, who has some disturbing revelations to share.

“We always look forward to milestones, but there is something extra special about this one,” said Rod Aissa, EVP, original programming, Oxygen Media, in a statement. “The captivating stories featured in this series have kept true-crime junkies coming back week after week, and before you knew it we were at 500.”

Snapped is produced by Jupiter Entertainment with Patrick Reardon, Todd Moss, and Dale Fisher serving as executive producers.
