Resort director Masha (Nicole Kidman) welcomes a group of stressed-out city dwellers to ten days of health and wellness in Hulu’s Nine Perfect Strangers, based on the best-selling book by Liane Moriarty. But all is definitely not what it seems at Tranquilim House.

Based on the New York Times-bestselling book by Liane Moriarty, author of Big Little Lies, the series also stars Melissa McCarthy, who has been feeling rather unwell lately, Michael Shannon, Luke Evans, Bobby Cannavale, Regina Hall, Samara Weaving, Melvin Gregg, Asher Keddie, Grace Van Patten, Tiffany Boone and Manny Jacinto.

The series comes from David E. Kelley, who also worked with Kidman on Big Little Lies and The Undoing, as well as Bruna Papandrea’s Made Up Stories, Kidman’s Blossom Films and Endeavor Content. Jonathan Levine directs all eight episodes and serves as executive producer alongside Papandrea, Steve Hutensky and Jodi Matterson for Made Up Stories, Kidman and Per Saari for Blossom Films, as well as Moriarty, Kelley, John Henry Butterworth, Molly Allen, Samantha Strauss and McCarthy. The series is co-written by Kelley, John Henry Butterworth and Samantha Strauss and co-showrun by Kelley and Butterworth.
