This year’s regular season NFL play on Fox gave the network its highest ratings since it started broadcasting the competition back in 1994.
With an average of 21.2 million viewers, the NFL on Fox beat out the previous record-holder, the 2010 season, which averaged 20.1 million viewers.
Fox is calling it a trend, saying that its four most-watched seasons came in the past four years.
NFL on Fox averaged a 12.5 share in 2013, which ties the 1995 season as the highest-rated ever.
The network said in a statement that ratings are up 19 percent over five years ago, and 21 percent over a decade ago.
Women viewers 18-34 were up 8 percent this past season to 4.3, helping boost adults 18-34 overall up 2 percent.
