Summer is coming and if MTV2 has its way, it won’t end. MTV2’s new brand campaign welcomes viewers to #NONSTOPSUMMER, starting June 10.
In the campaign’s first spot (above), Nick Cannon of MTV2’s Wild ‘N Out spins Flo Rida’s “My House” to partiers enjoying champagne over a healthy breakfast of Froot Loops, while watching turtle races and a guy dancing in a poop emoji costume.
The promo features all the stars of its summer programming in one place, at one high-flying warehouse party. Stars include Charlemagne of Uncommon Sense with Charlamagne, which premieres July 10 at 11 p.m., Tyga of Kingin’ with Tyga, which premieres July 10 at 11:30 p.m. and the cast of Not Exactly News, which premieres July 17 at 11:30 p.m.
“This summer MTV2 will be non-stop as we celebrate our 20th anniversary year with our most ambitious slate ever,” said Chris McCarthy, general manager of MTV2, Logo TV and mtvU.
MTV2 plans on using the campaign’s messaging to reach more of its male-skewing, millennial audience.
