Fox News host Megyn Kelly will be leaving the network in 2017 and moving to NBC News where she will be starting two new programs and working as a contributor during special political coverage, according to Variety.

The magazine reports that under a new deal announced Tuesday, Kelly will join NBC News later in the year, and will anchor what NBC billed as “a new one hour daytime program that she will develop closely with NBC News colleagues.” The show is expected to air Monday through Friday at a time to be announced in coming months.

NBC News Chairman Andrew Lack got Kelly away from Fox News by offering her a triple role in which she will host her own daytime news and discussion program, anchor an in-depth Sunday night news program and take regular part in the network’s special political programming and other big-event coverage.

Fox News’s parent company, 21st Century Fox, which is controlled by the family of Rupert Murdoch, had offered Kelly more than $20 million a year to stay after her current contract expires this year. Rival networks seeking to hire Kelly away, including NBC News, had made it clear that they could not match that money from Fox, according to the New York Times.

Shortly after the story broke, Kelly published a statement on her Facebook confirming her exit, writing: “While I will greatly miss my colleagues at Fox, I am delighted to be joining the NBC News family and taking on a new challenge. I remain deeply grateful to Fox News, to Rupert, Lachlan and James Murdoch, and especially to all of the FNC viewers, who have taught me so much about what really matters.”

The New York Times article also speculated that Kelly’s departure is allegedly due to ongoing bad blood at Fox over the sexual harassment allegations against former CEO Roger Ailes. That report erupted last year when former Fox News anchor Gretchen Carlson filed a lawsuit against Ailes for wrongful termination. An internal investigation at Fox News eventually turned up 20 additional women who claimed to have been harassed by Ailes over the years. One of those women was Megyn Kelly, who reportedly showed investigators notes she had taken regarding specific incidents.

Ailes resigned his job at Fox News in July 2016. In November, Kelly published a book detailing some of the alleged harassment she experienced.
