Three-time Grammy winner Megan Thee Stallion is the latest celebrity to pitch her elaborate idea to NBC Sports to promote this summer’s Paris Olympics.

Stallion starts her pitch from Versailles, where the 2024 equestrian events will be held. High-performance dressage horses and their riders back up Stallion before she is joined by her own flying, talking, fire-breathing horse.

“And that is Thee Olympics, hot-girl style,” she tells a room full of skeptical marketing executives and the scene shifts back to a conference room.

The spot, which follows former NFL MVP quarterback Peyton Manning pitching his bread blimp, debuted during NBCU’s Thanksgiving Day programming as well as during NBC and Peacock’s Thursday night airing of the Seattle Seahawks hosting the San Francisco 49ers.

“As we approach the new year, even more surprises are in store as we continue to bring to life the biggest media event of 2024 – the Paris Olympic and Paralympic Games,” said Jenny Storms, CMO, sports and entertainment, NBCUniversal, in a statement.

The spot starring Stallion will continue to run across NBCU’s linear, social, and digital platforms. It’s part of a larger campaign that will feature additional versions with different talent in the months to come. NBCU worked with the US equestrian governing body to produce the spot as well as with music producer Harvey Mason Jr., who created the modernized version of Olympic anthem, “Bugler’s Dream.”

The 2024 Summer Olympics will run on NBC and Peacock July 26 through August 11, 2024, followed by the Paralympics August 28 through September 8. Events are taking place in and around Paris, including in Versailles, with surfing events happening 10,000 miles away in Tahiti, which is part of French Polynesia.
