WGN America’s newest original series is called “Manhattan,” actually set in a small town in New Mexico during the 1940s. Following the men and their families responsible for the Manhattan Project, the new show is premiering only months after the network’s very first original scripted series,“Salem,” and is coming out in full force right now, first releasing its :60 trailer and now with key art images (below).

The series follows both the scientists working on the first atomic bomb as well as their families, who they are forced to keep secrets from. “Manhattan’s” key art plays on the enormity of that responsibility as well as family secrets, evoking the aesthetic of propaganda posters of the time as well.
