Jules Verardi has joined Atlanta-based motion graphics and animation studio Creative Mammals as art director, the studio said Monday.

Verardi will take the lead on directing and executing design and animation on all projects, working closely with Robert Burroughs, Creative Mammals’ executive creative director. She’ll also oversee the team’s workflow.

“I’m so excited to be a part of such a creative forward team who is looking to push the work in new and interesting ways.” Verardi said in a statement.

Verardi comes to Creative Mammals from ViacomCBS’ Comedy Central, where she served as motion-design director for brand creative. While there, she won Promax Gold for her work on Broad City, Inside Amy Schumer, the Roast of James Franco and the Roast of Rob Lowe. She also won Promax Gold for The Daily Show’s “Trump Twitter Library” exhibit in New York City, which also won the Cannes Lion Grand Prix for outdoor immersive experiences.

As a freelancer, Verardi has worked for Vice, CNN, Interscope Records, L’Oreal, Maybelline and Essie.
