John Zeigler, has been named senior director, creative services at the YES Network.
Zeigler, whose achievements include 31 PromaxBDA awards and 21 Emmy awards, will oversee the creation and implementation of the network’s overall strategic marketing and advertising activities, plus the execution of concepts spanning the print, video, radio and digital platforms. He will report to YES President Jon Litner.
“John’s experience and expertise across all media platforms will enable YES to not only build upon its leadership status among regional sports networks, but also break new ground in the dynamic digital media space,” said Litner in a statement.
Zeigler joins YES from Z Living Network in Los Angeles, where he was vice president of creative services and digital media. While at Z, he was responsible for all content, creative and marketing strategies and executions across multiple platforms, including on-air, digital and social media, consumer, integrated ad sales, and affiliates.
Prior to working at Z, Zeigler was vice president, creative and digital content, at WGN America from 2012 to 2014, and vice president, executive creative director, at Tribune Creative Group & Turbo Dog Productions from 2010 to 2013.
Zeigler also was director of creative services and marketing solutions at WPIX-TV in New York from 2003-2010, and director of creative services at FOX-TV from 1992-2003, working at various FOX affiliates throughout the country.
