In the third season of Prime Video’s action thriller, Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan, starring John Kraskinski, Ryan seems to have landed a cushy gig working as a CIA case officer in Rome. But things quickly escalate when he is tipped off that a secret plan to restore the Soviet Empire is about to be resurrected by dropping a nuclear bomb, creating chaos and starting a World War.

As he works to try to stop the plan, he’s falsely implicated in a larger conspiracy and accused of treason, drawing his own people out to stop him. On the run from both the U.S. and the Russian governments, Ryan is also trying to uncover the rogue faction and stop the plan before it’s too late.

Besides Krasinski, Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan stars Wendell Pierce (The Wire) as CIA Officer James Greer and Michael Kelly (House of Cards) as former CIA Officer Mike November.

Joining the cast this season are Nina Hoss as Czech President Alena Kovac and Betty Gabriel as CIA Rome Station Chief Elizabeth Wright.

Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan is co-produced by Amazon Studios, Paramount Television Studios and Skydance Television, and is executive produced by Andrew Form, Allyson Seeger, Krasinski, Vaun Wilmott, Brad Fuller and Michael Bay. Additionally, Tom Clancy and Skydance Television’s David Ellison, Dana Goldberg and Bill Bost executive produce the third season, along with Mace Neufeld and Carlton Cuse.

All eight episodes of Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan drop Wednesday, December 21 on Prime Video.
