Denver-based production company Impossible has expanded its ranks, adding Martha Douglas as associate producer and Emily O’Brien as head of marketing and client relations.
The company also has tweaked its business model a bit, adopting a “free agent” model, which allows Impossible to pull from a large roster of qualified creative collaborators, including copywriters, designers, art directors, editors and so forth, from around the world.
“Impossible plays the part of assembler, curator and—not to be understated—guarantor,” says principal and executive producer Joel Pilger in a statement. “We like to think of this approach as ‘massive collaboration,’ under the watchful eye of trustworthy, master cat herders with deep sensibilities.”
The company also just moved locations into Denver’s River North Art District.
Recent projects completed under this model include “Storybook Fairy” for DISH Network, by Director/DP Kevin Emmons, and featuring Atlanta Falcons’ tight end Tony Gonazalez.; “Mythbusters,” for the Denver Museum of Nature & Science, helmed by Director/DP Tom Camarda; and the “People” image spot, which featured the broadcast design talents of creative directors Mitch Monson, Greg Herman and Hector Espinosa.
Douglas comes to Impossible from Denver-based Factory Design Labs, and Crispin Porter + Bogusky in Boulder, Colo.
