Let’s be honest: We’re all just waiting for this week to be over so we can get to Sunday and watch Game of Thrones.
But in the meantime, other non-related news happened this week.
If you somehow avoided looking at any screen throughout the entire week, you may not know that Michael Strahan is leaving Live with Kelly and Michael and headed to Good Morning America this September and that, as a result of not being told in a timely manner, Kelly Ripa is less than thrilled. (We’re too polite to say pissed off.) Ripa not only took Wednesday off, but also Thursday, Friday and Monday, although reps for the show say this was for a “previously scheduled vacation.” Tuesday will tell.

In less newsy news, Brief contributor Carmina Balaguer profiled TNT Latin America’s campaign for its new show, Hasta Que Te Conoci, which tells the story of Mexican singing legend, Juan Gabriel.

Another favorite Brief contributor, Justin W. Sanders, wrote about this touching PSA for children’s cancer, created by The STUDIO.

PromaxBDA is getting ready for PromaxBDA: The Conference in June (less than two months away, yikes!) and our marketing consultant and SEME Tricia Melton can barely stand the excitement.
