Comic-Con is over, Shark Week is long gone now and the World Cup winners are finished making their victory lap. But don’t worry, TV fans: Sharknado Week is just around the corner.

And now that the Emmy nominations have been announced, everyone has a lot of catching up and DVRing to do before Sept. 20 when the winners are announced.

S before everyone gets to the forgotten shows and prepares for their next week of shark-related fun, catch up on a few of the stories that may have fallen through the cracks.

HBO Leads Emmy Nominations with 126:
HBO led all networks in the 67th annual Emmy nominations with a total of 126, followed by ABC with 42, followed by NBC and CBS with 41, FX with 38 and Fox with 35. Several HBO series led the competition for total nominations, most notably Game of Thrones, which was far ahead with 24.

Brand/Rebrand: MTV International:
MTV pays homage to the ‘90s “I Want My TV” with “I am my TV,” the flashy centerpiece of the new MTVI. The online platform is #MTVBump, which lets viewers upload their own videos to be considered as idents, or by submitting them through Instagram and Vine.

TruthCo: Can Comedy Change the World?
“The power of comedy to converse with important social issues is as age old as the art form itself,” says TruthCo’s Linda Ong, “yet is something we’re seeing as increasingly relevant in TV and culture today. Especially for millennials and Gen X, for whom comedy is as crucial to their identities as music was for the Boomers.”

Apple, Networks Progress on Live-Streaming TV Service:
ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox are in discussions with their affiliates about giving live-streaming rights to Apple as part of its TV service. Networks and their affiliates would share in the new service’s revenue if they agree to terms, however Apple wants to reduce by 30 percent the amount that affiliates would keep should subscribers sign up for the service via the App Store.

Zachary Levi Builds Nerd Machine Brand With Passion:
Zachary Levi will appear on NBC’s upcoming Heroes Reborn and Syfy’s Geeks Who Drink, but he’s also the face of The Nerd Machine, a company he co-founded with David Coleman in 2010 that has become synonymous with San Diego’s Comic-Con thanks to NerdHQ, a fan-friendly experience with a litany of video gaming activations, dance parties and intimate panels with Comic-Con legends like Nathan Fillion and William Shatner.
