HBO’s unscripted series We’re Here returns for its eight-episode second season on National Coming Out Day, Monday, Oct. 11 at 9 p.m. ET/PT.

The series follows a trio of queens Bob the Drag Queen, Eureka O’Hara and Shangela as they travel to such diverse spots as Spartanburg, S.C.; Temecula, Calif.; Del Rio, Texas; Selma, Ala.; Evansville, Indiana; Watertown, S.D., Kona, Hawaii; and Grand Junction, Colo., to spread the gospel of drag and help their “drag daughters” express their true selves to their families, friends and communities.

In episode one, the trio returns to Spartanburg after the pandemic cut their first visit short. There, they catch up with Noah, who is grappling with gender expression; plus-size lesbian model faith; and Olin.

In episode two, they travel to Temecula where they meet James, an often misgendered trans man navigating neurodiversity; Jake, his faith-influencer mom Michelle, and his partner, Brad; and cheerleader Andrei.

And in episode three, the tree head to the Texas border town of Del Rio just in time for Pride Month. There, the queens celebrate gay-identifying mayor Bruno Lozano’s positive impact on the community, Joey’s identity quest, and Esael’s coming-out journey.

We’re Here is created and executive produced by Stephen Warren and Johnnie Ingram; directed and executive produced by Peter LoGreco; executive produced by Eli Holzman, Aaron Saidman and Erin Gamble for Industrial Media’s The Intellectual Property Corporation (IPC); series producers are Caldwell Tidicue (Bob the Drag Queen), David Huggard (Eureka O’Hara) and D.J. Pierce (Shangela).
