Movie, TV and music star Will Smith rappels into a volcano, kayaks with killer whales and hikes across frozen tundra in National Geographic’s six-part docuseries, Welcome to Earth, streaming on Disney Plus this December. Smith debuted the above trailer across his social media accounts.
Throughout the series, Smith is guided by elite explorers, including marine biologist and National Geographic Explorer Diva Amon, polar expeditionist Dwayne Fields, engineer and National Geographic Explorer Albert Lin, National Geographic photographer Cristina Mittermeier and mountaineer Erik Weihenmayer.
“I thought you were going to freak out but you just kept going,” says one explorer to Smith, who responds: “I’m an actor, I pretend for a living.”
