HBO unleashed a trailer for Bright Lights: Starring Carrie Fisher and Debbie Reynolds.

The intimate documentary, shown above, gives viewers a behind-the-scenes glimpse at their familial bond amidst Hollywood fame. The cabler originally slated for the film to debut later in 2017, but moved up the premiere date in light of the iconic mother-daughter duo’s untimely deaths, just one day apart from each other in December.

“My mother, she’ll forget she’s not 35,” Fisher says of Reynolds in the promo as archived footage of the family plays. “Age is horrible for all of us, but she falls from a greater height.”

Reynolds, a screen legend from Hollywood’s lauded Golden Age who starred in classics such as Singin’ in the Rain, went on to speak about her daughter and her passionate advocacy work, memoirs and mental health struggles.

“Manic-depressive is a disease that was not diagnosed then,” says Reynolds of Fisher. “So nobody kind of knew what was going on with Carrie.”

Even through all the ups and downs, the duo grew closer together as they became older, eventually becoming neighbors in Los Angeles. “I’m my mom’s best friend,” says Fisher.

“I share everything with my daughter,” Reynolds adds, “especially the check.”

Bright Lights: Starring Carrie Fisher and Debbie Reynolds debuts Saturday, Jan. 7 at 8 p.m. ET on HBO.
