HBO has revealed the trailer for its Robin Thede-created comedy series, A Black Lady Sketch Show.
The preview trailer features an array of silly moments, including a NSFW game of “never have I ever,” a “bad bitch” support group, and a squabble about who gets to bless a church meal.
The series—written by Thede and executive produced by co-star Issa Rae—is the first sketch comedy show created, written by, and starring black women.
Though the core cast features Ashley Nicole Black, Gabrielle Dennis, and Quinta Brunson, a slew of celebrity guests appear in the trailer, including Angela Bassett, David Alan Grier, Laverne Cox, Tia Mowry, Kelly Rowland, Patti Labelle, and more. Other special guests are set to appear, including Amber Riley, Yvonne Orji, Loretta Divine, Gina Torres, Jermaine Fowler, Lil Rel Howery, Edon Cole, Marsai Martin and Natasha Rothwell.
A Black Lady Sketch Show premieres Aug. 2 at 11 p.m. on HBO.
