Baseball announcer Jim Brockmire (Hank Azaria) makes a move to New Orleans for season two of IFC’s Brockmire, and the change of venue doesn’t appear to helping his drinking problem any.
“I may not be in the major leagues but I’ve really upped my game when it comes to my alcoholism,” he says in the first trailer for the second season, above.
Azaria is joined by Amanda Peet—playing team owner and ex-girlfriend Jules Jones, whose drinking issues nearly rival Brockmire’s own—and former intern and now roommate, Charles, played by Tyrel Jackson Williams.
Season two of Brockmire debuts April 25 on IFC.
