Set to the music of Battle Tapes, the opening titles for Rooster Teeth’s new anime mecha series, gen:LOCK, drop viewers right into the action.
In the sequence, the team—voiced by Michael B. Jordan, Maisie Williams, Goldshifteh Farahani, Kōichi Yamadera, and Asia Kate Dillon—transform into powerful mecha and prepare to go to battle.

The series is set fifty years in the future when an authoritarian force is threatening to take over the world and a team of misfits and renegades are called together to pilot new mecha.
The first two episodes of Gen:LOCK premiered Saturday, Jan. 26, with episode one available for free, and the second and rest of the series available for a $4.99 monthly membership. Episodes will then premiere weekly thereafter until the final episode lands on March 9.
