FX NetworksStephanie Gibbons, instrumental in marketing campaigns and strategy for hits like “The Shield” and “Nip/Tuck,” and more recently “American Horror Story,” “The Americans” and “Louie,” has been promoted to president of marketing for the network.

Previously EVP of marketing and on-air promotion for FX Networks, Stephanie Gibbons will be responsible for oversight of all FX, Fox Movie Channel and FXX marketing and advertising campaigns in her new role. She will also continue to oversee the creative for mobile and VOD initiatives.

FX Networks CEO John Landgraf made the announcement today, leading up to the launch of the new FXX on September 2.
