The sooner you do your part, the sooner everyone can get back to the game.
That’s the foundation for Fox Sports’ new campaign, “For the Team,” which encourages viewers to stay at home to help limit the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19) and, in return, bring live sports back.
On-air sports personalities such as Troy Aikman, Erin Andrews and Tony Gonzalez relay the message in this public service announcement (above), which debuted as part of WWE Friday Night SmackDown. The campaign, which also points viewers to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) website for current health guidelines, will continue to air on Fox Sports’ networks and digital properties.
“Teamwork is the only way to win during these unprecedented times,” said Mark Silverman, president, national networks, Fox Sports, in a statement. “We at Fox Sports will continue to do everything we can to help get our communities healthier and back to the sports we love.”
