When Disney enters the streaming wars on Tuesday, Nov. 12, it’s introducing a new, gunslinging bounty hunter to the Star Wars universe: The Mandalorian.

Taking place between Return of the Jedi and The Force Awakens, the franchise’s first live-action series follows Pedro Pascal’s Mandalorian as he follows his bounties across a post-Empire galaxy. The series, which releases weekly after the streamer’s launch, is written and produced by Jon Favreau (The Lion King, Avengers).

Although The Mandalorian is the only new series available at launch, it’s the first of many premiering on Disney+. The new season of the beloved animated series, Star Wars: The Clone Wars, will premiere in February 2020 with 12 all-new episodes.

During its D23 Expo in Anaheim, Calif., Disney also announced that Lucasfilm is developing two new series: a Rogue One spinoff focusing on Diego Luna’s Captain Cassian Andor and an Obi-Wan Kenobi series with Ewan McGregor reprising his role.

That’s in addition to all 12 Stars Wars films, which will slowly roll out on the streaming service. Here is what will be available at launch:

  • Star Wars: A New Hope
  • Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back
  • Star Wars: Return of the Jedi
  • Star Wars: The Phantom Menace
  • Star Wars: Attack of the Clones
  • Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith
  • Star Wars: The Clone Wars
  • Star Wars: The Force Awakens
  • Rogue One: A Star Wars Story

The Last Jedi, Solo and The Rise of Skywalker will also become available during the first year of launch. Until then, those who subscribe for $6.99/month or $69.99/year can also enjoy new and library content from Pixar, Marvel, National Geographic and Disney.
