As the release of Disney+ quickly approaches, Daily Brief is recounting the streamer’s massive content library, spanning new and legacy titles from its flagship and subsidiary companies: Disney, Star Wars, Marvel and Pixar.

In addition to its D23 Expo in Anaheim, Calif., the streamer announced all of its content in a lengthy Twitter thread on Oct. 14. It revealed that Marvel content, in particular, will be limited during the streamer’s launch on Nov. 12.

Disney is using its streaming service to expand on its beloved superheroes and villains; however, most are slated to premiere in 2020 and 2021. That includes The Falcon and the Winter Soldier (2020), a live-action series with Anthony Mackie and Sebastian Stan reprising their Captain America roles, WandaVision (2021), a limited series expected to run between six and eight episodes, and Loki (2021),a series focusing on the titular, Asgardian trickster from Thor.

On the other hand, Disney is launching a new 20-episode docuseries, Marvel’s Hero Project, as part of its unscripted programming.

The series spotlights the young, “real-life heroes” who are making remarkable, positive changes within their community. In the end, each hero is inducted into the Marvel Universe through their very own comic book.
