​In a 2009 “This is SportsCenter” spot, Scott Van Pelt tried out his new athletic mask in the break room, enlisting his ESPN anchor friends to help test it out. Years later, the spot has new relevance as the NBA’s LeBron James has made the mask popular again after breaking his nose in a game against the Oklahoma City Thunder.

ESPN has re-posted the video today in honor of James’ new look and media coverage surrounding his upcoming games.
