NBCUniversal has promoted marketing strategist Brent Mitchell to the role of SVP of consumer marketing at E! and Esquire Network.
In his new role at the networks, Mitchell will expand his marketing efforts to include all campaigns for new and continuing series at E! and Esquire, as well as media planning and social media marketing.
Mitchell will continue to report to Jen Neal, executive VP of marketing at E! and Esquire Network.
“Brent is a talented marketing executive and brand strategist who has played an important role in E! and Esquire Network’s ongoing growth and success,” said Neal in a statement. “In today’s evolving media landscape, Brent continues to find new and innovative ways to create and execute breakthrough advertising campaigns that propel our brands and engage viewers across platforms.”
Mitchell has been with NBCU since 2014, formerly the company’s VP of marketing, advertising and digital/social for E! and Esquire.
He has worked on the marketing campaigns for E!‘s first scripted original, The Royals, Esquire’s first scripted series Spotless, as well as I Am Cait, American Ninja Warrior and Knife Fight.
