“What used to make this city great is that it was run by bad men who understood that they were bad.”

So says Kevin Bacon in the trailer for City on a Hill, the police crime drama premiering this June on Showtime.

The network released a new trailer and key art for the upcoming series set in early 1990s Boston. It follows an assistant district attorney (Aldis Hodge) and a corrupt, yet venerated, FBI agent (Bacon) who establish an unlikely alliance to reform the unethical legal system.

City on a Hill also stars Jonathan Tucker, Lauren E. Banks, Mark O’Brien, Amanda Clayton, Jere Shea, Kevin Chapman, and Jill Hennessey. The series is created and executive produced by Chuck MacLean (Boston Strangler), with Tom Fontana (Homicide: Life on the Street) serving as showrunner and executive producer. Ben Affleck and Matt Damon also serve as executive producers.
