Starting this summer, Bar Rescue’s Jon Taffer will do more than save your local business—he’ll take a stab at preserving marriages.

Paramount Network unveiled the new spinoff series, Marriage Rescue, which follows Taffer as he helps a diverse group of spouses—ranging from newlyweds to long-standing couples—who are on the brink of failure.

To escape from any distractions, the series takes place at a five-star beach resort in the Caribbean. Each couple will go through a series of challenges that put their relationships to the test; in the end, they must decide if they will leave the show together or part ways.

Bar Rescue is first and foremost about helping people flourish in difficult situations,” Taffer said in a statement. “Marriage Rescue will allow me to focus my energy and passion on couples that need to confront issues and cause serious change in their relationship. At the end of the show, whether the couple decides to stay together or part ways, I know that our work together will leave everyone in a better place with confidence in their future.”

Paramount Network has also ordered a 12-episode seventh season of Bar Rescue, which is currently airing its sixth season. The original series follows Taffer as he transforms failing restaurants, bars and nightclubs into profitable enterprises.

Both series are produced by 3 Ball Entertainment. Taffer, Ross Weintraub, Ronak Kordestani and Joel Rodgers executive produce Marriage Rescue. Bar Rescue is executive produced by Taffer, Weintraub and Birchara “Bicha” Gholam.

Marriage Rescue premieres on the Paramount Network on Sunday, June 2.
