It’s either Christoween or Hallowmas on the Hallmark Channel, where this year’s Countdown to Christmas starts Oct. 22.
The Crown Media-owned channel worked with Culver City, Calif.-based creative agency Big Picture to mash up two beloved holidays in the above spot, with a family of trick-or-treaters joyfully surprised by a dusting of snow and a well-lit house across the way. As they cross the street, the scene changes from fall to winter. And when they knock on the door, the family discovers a bustling holiday party taking place inside, complete with candy canes, hot chocolate and Christmas gifts.
