CNN began promoting its new streaming service, CNN Plus, coming in 2022. The first spot out of the gate, “Evolution,” is produced by Los Angeles-based Known Studios.
Over the course of 30 seconds, the spot takes viewers on a lightning-fast journey through CNN’s almost 42-year-old history, perfectly timing its video to its jaunty theme song. Before it wraps things up, it hints at all the ways the service will allow CNN to change up how it covers, presents and interacts with the news of the day.
